The Kennel Club Genetics Centre at the University of Cambridge is investigating a potentially new inherited neurological disease in Staffordshire Bull Terriers.  Affected dogs display intermittent neurological episodes that might resemble mild seizures or even L2HGA, a well characterised inherited disorder that has been described previously in the Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

We would be very interested to hear about any Staffordshire Bull Terriers that might be affected with this condition.
Owners of dogs displaying any unexplained or undiagnosed neurological symptoms are invited to get in touch with the KCGC, in complete confidence, to see if their dog could potentially help us understand this condition better.
